This pizzeria is truly the best! Their wings are out of this world ,perfectly seasoned, crispy, and full of flavor. And the pizza? Absolutely amazing The crust, the cheese, everything is always fresh and delicious. It has become our go-to place, and we order from here every year for my daughters’ birthdays because we know it will always be perfect. The food never disappoints and the service is always friendly and reliable. Highly recommend!

Mario’s is the best Italian restaurant in New Jersey. They took care of us as family with the highest of service and quality of food. Special thank you to Jose for always looking after our tables in the back and providing top notch service. Giuseppe helped carry out our catering order, and Tatiana waited on our tables when we had 20+ people. Use them for catering, sit down, takeout, as well as on a food contract. You will not be disappointed! Thank you so much.

In from out of town near the airport for a couple of days and found this absolute amazing spot for a great meal. Truly at home Italian restaurant, great vibe, better food, even better service. If you are staying near EWR grab a quick Uber ride here and enjoy a great meal, not some chain you can get at home anyway.

I think anyone growing up in Elizabeth knew how the good the pizza is @ Mario's Famous down the port . This place has been there over 30yrs and is still one of the best in the area . THAT'S A GIVEN . THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT MORE THAN THAT . I RECENTLY WENT IN ON A FRIDAY Night for a dine-in experience that my wife and I are still talking about . Tucked in back you'll find a small dining room. THE OWNER JOE ON Friday Nights is in full CHEF mode . We did not order from the menu and allowed him to curate 5 courses after some quick discussion of our likes . WOW! Is an understatement. The food made to order, the ingredients fresh, the passion and love that went into the dishes came through in the taste . The experience was top notch . So grab your bottle of wine . This is a must try . You will not be disappointed.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the area. Been coming here for last 4 years and never a bad or sub-par experience. Everyone here is attentive and lets you modify your dish per your taste. Specially recommended for you vegetarians - their Eggplant Parmigiana is the best.

Impressed with the wide menu selections and quality of food. Although it is small for eat in, they do a remarkable take out business located right off the Elizabethport pier. We ate in their dining area and were a party of 5 adults. The antipasto platter and bruschetta were outstanding and creative. Each entree was very big and took half hone. Above all, Angelina, our waitress/server, was very professional and never jotted down the order which each person tweeked something and she repeated it perfectly and when served, it was exact. That’s what I call a superb waitress!
